Your family will feel safe, secure, and comfortable in our office with our experienced and friendly staff. When being treated by Dr. Shelton, you can be sure that you are receiving care from the best dentist in town. We provide a variety of services to meet all of your dental needs. Whether you are in need of preventative, restorative, or cosmetic dentistry, we can help.

General Teeth Care

Possibly the most important aspect of our family dentistry office is that we provide general dentistry services. This is often referred to as preventative care. Thorough at-home brushing and flossing are your first step in preventing cavities and gum disease. Your next step is to visit our family dentistry office at least twice a year for dental checkups. We offer professional teeth cleaning to remove plaque and bacteria. We can also provide sealants for some teens and adults to help prevent the development of cavities. We also take x-rays for a closer look at each and every one of your teeth to ensure you do not have the beginnings of any dental caries. The x-rays will be kept in our records to compare with future x-rays so that we can monitor the development and health of your teeth.

When we look at your teeth and believe you need brushing and flossing advice, we will offer our expertise. We will also help to instill proper oral hygiene habits by making recommendations for how to achieve better results when brushing and how to eat a mouth-healthy diet. If you play sports, we have the tools to manufacture a proper mouthguard to wear as protection against collision damage. For established patients, we also provide emergency care as needed.

General Cosmetic Services

When you are in need of cosmetic services, we can provide you with teeth whitening, aligning by veneers, dental bonding, gum contouring, and silver and gold filling replacements. We consider these our most popular general cosmetic services.

General Restorative Dental Care

When you need to have your teeth restored due to teeth and gum damage, our family dentistry office can help. We can provide you with fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures if you need quality dental replacements. We can also perform periodontal disease treatment and root canal therapy when necessary. Our restorative dental care provides you with beautiful, long-lasting, tooth-colored, and stain resistant dental improvements. We make our restorative care the most permanent it can be to provide you with years of protection and aesthetic improvement.

With our quality family dentistry care, your family with never be in want of the proper protection against dental caries, disease, and damage. All of your family’s records will be kept in the same place so that you will benefit from a continuity of care and the ease of working with one provider.  To learn more, call and schedule an appointment today.
